About me Avtandil (in real world - Dima Sobolev) Was born in 1960. I'm working as Radio (Communication/IT) Officer on cargo/passenger/icebreaker/salvage vessels. 1989 in the arctic city Murmansk discover MIDI and sequencers, that gave me possibility to record my first album. Now I live in St.Petersburg. Later I bought synthesizer Roland D20 and computer Atari ST, which allowed me to produce songs "from start to end". Now I have already four albums. I always try to imitate existing musical instruments by means of synth and also produce new artifical sounds. My musical sympathies (Steve Hackett, "Marillion", Mike Oldfield, "Pink Floyd", Enya, russian group "Aquarium", indian and brasil music) are absolutely different from final results. In 1999 I became a member of "Electronic Mucis Club" in St.Petersburg. Taking part in "Musical Computer" projects... Also participate in some computer projects - look here ...
